How Much Does Influencer Marketing Cost in India?
There is no single price. Cost depends on how many creators you use, their tier, what they deliver, how long you can reuse the content and whether production is included. Agencies quote per brief, so the useful question is what drives the quote.
The five things that set the price
Creator tier and count: nano and micro creators cost less each, mega creators cost more, and campaigns often mix both.
Deliverables: a reel, a YouTube video, stories and a carousel are priced differently.
Usage rights: using a creator's video in your own ads, or for a longer time, raises the fee.
Exclusivity: asking a creator not to work with competitors for a period adds cost.
Production: scripts, shoots, editing and travel are extra if the brand wants film-quality content.
Common pricing models
Flat fee per deliverable is the most common. Performance deals pay per view or per sale, usually on top of a base fee. Barter, where creators receive the product only, works for seeding at scale but suits some categories better than others.
Agencies usually add a management fee for strategy, casting, contracts, approvals and reporting.
How to set a budget
Start from the goal, not the creator list. Decide the outcome (views, store visits, sales), the number of posts you need and the timeline, then ask for a written quote. Keep a share of budget for amplifying the best-performing posts.
How we handle it at Dhi & Kin
We quote per brief in writing, show what is included, and cast four to nine well-matched creators for most launches instead of paying for volume. Our results table shows what past campaigns delivered, so you can judge value.
